A War Criminal Appaled

“We have observed horrific examples of regime forces deliberately placing their weapons systems close to civilians, their homes and even their places of worship,” [comander of NATO forces in Libya] Bouchard said.

“This type of behavior violates the principles of international law and will not be tolerated,” he said.

It is quite obvious that anything else than Gadhafi having all his tanks and artillery nicely lined up in the dessert so that NATO can do a clean bombing will not satisfy NATO generals.

But when they talk about principles of international law, they should not forget that attacking another country is on its own a war crime.
